Mountain View Acres is a small census-designated place in the Victor Valley area of the Mojave Desert, located in San Bernardino County, California. It is completely surrounded by the city of Victorville and sits just north of Hesperia. The community covers about 1.6 square miles, all of which is land.
According to the 2020 U.S. Census, Mountain View Acres had a population of 3,337, with a density of about 2,100 people per square mile. The population was 34% White, 6.5% African American, 2.5% Native American, 2.9% Asian, and 0.3% Pacific Islander. Around 34.4% were from other races, and 19.2% identified with two or more races. Hispanic or Latino residents made up 63.1% of the population.There were 954 households, most being families, with an average household size of 3.5. About 40% of households had children under 18, and 53% were married couples. The median age was 37.1 years. Nearly all residents lived in households, and 72.7% of occupied homes were owner-occupied.
