Mead Valley, California is a census-designated place in Riverside County, located in the northeastern Temescal Mountains at an elevation of 1,663 feet. It lies south of Riverside and west of Perris, in a valley drained by the north fork of Cajalco Creek. The total area is 19.1 square miles, all of it land.
As of the 2020 census, Mead Valley had a population of 19,819, with a population density of about 1,038.7 people per square mile. The racial makeup was 24.3% White, 4.8% African American, 3.3% Native American, 1.5% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 49.3% from other races, and 16.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino residents made up 78.7% of the population.There were 4,560 households, with an average household size of 4.32. About 51.4% of households had children under 18, 55.7% were married couples, 6.8% were cohabiting couples, 19.9% were female householders with no partner, and 17.5% were male householders with no partner. About 11.3% of households were single-person households.
